Back in Santa Fe!

Thin Air Studio was started in Santa Fe, NM in 1992 and moved to Vermont in 1995…30 years later, I’m back in Santa Fe! My studio for the past 4 years has been is in the El  Zaguan building home of the Historic Santa Fe Foundation. I was a resident artist in their 160 year old building and it was such an inspiring place to work. My current studio is in downtown Santa Fe, just a few blocks from the plaza, I love visitors! Please contact me if you’d like to come visit. For the last 40 years I have made a living in a variety of ways –  making ceramics, jewelry, textiles and as a social worker. Broom and brush making is a new skill for me. I delight in finding discarded objects and in discovering new ways of creating brooms and brushes. I incorporate traditional processes with found objects that have been used, as well as feel good, in your hand. I am inspired and motivated by everyday use – creating soulful goods meant to be used.  Thin Air Goods allows me to keep flexible and adding to my constant flow of “goods”.
